European school (XIX) - Natura morta

The image shows a still life attributed to French painting, featuring a fruit composition including grapes and apples, rendered with loose and tactile brushwork. The work, oil on panel, can be dated to the late 19th century. The painting is set in an important gilded frame (small defects, see photo) with carvings in classical motifs. Signature not identified at the bottom left. Canvas size: 24.5 x 32.5 cm.
