For sale: Sansui G-8000 in exceptional, collector-preserved condition. In my opinion this is a true collectible-grade specimen, extremely hard to find on today’s market in such well-preserved condition.
The receiver underwent professional service at Proton Audio. The scope of work included, among other things, repairing the protection circuit and additional power supplies, repairing the control stages of both channels, cleaning the relay, replacing diodes VD1212, replacing electrolytic capacitors, cleaning the PCB boards and re-soldering where required, as well as a full adjustment and calibration of operating parameters. An invoice documenting the service work is included.
Sansui G-8000 is widely regarded as one of the best models of the legendary G series.
