AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

OLYMPUS OM10 + SIGMA MINI-WIDE 28mm F2.8, tested and working.

Hello from Japan!
We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world.

The Olympus OM10 of 1979 brought the celebrated compactness of Maitani's OM system to a wider audience: an aperture-priority automatic SLR that weighs and measures far less than most of its rivals while accepting the entire range of OM-system Zuiko lenses. Its clean, simple operation made it one of the best-selling SLRs of its era and a favourite first camera for a generation of photographers. Fitted here with a Sigma Mini-Wide 28mm f/2.8, a compact wide-angle from the same period, it makes a light, capable outfit for street and travel photography on film.

Important — please read carefully:
There is fungus in the lens. Please review the photos and consider this before bidding.

Condition: Used — Good
Pre-owned, distinct signs of use or minor optical flaws

Serial Number
Please check the photo.

Appearance
The body shows considerable cosmetic wear. Please check the photos for details.

Optical Condition
Lens / Sensor: Fungus present

Functional
The camera operates properly.
The meter responds — measured about +0.2 EV at EV12, but about +3.7 EV at EV15 (see Known Issues).

Measured Performance
We check these cameras on a shutter tester rather than by ear, and we publish what we measured:
- Light meter accuracy — EV12: 0.2 OVER / EV15: 3.7 OVER
Negative film has enough latitude to absorb deviations of this size, but the figures are here so you can judge for yourself.

Servicing
This camera was serviced by us before listing:
- Light seals (foam) replaced

Known Issues
1. There is mould in the Sigma lens — please check the photos and price accordingly.
2. There is dust visible in the viewfinder. It does not affect the image on film.
3. The meter reads accurately in low light (+0.2 EV at EV12) but about +3.7 EV over in bright light (EV15) — in strong daylight, use exposure compensation or manual settings.
4. Light seals (foam) have been replaced.

Bundled Items
Only what you can see in the pictures will be included in the package.

Important Notes for Used Items
