Antique Houghton box camera (London, England) Klito, dating to around 1905 and custom-made, a unique piece of 117 years, fully restored with a new walnut veneer covering. Originally used glass plates or sheet film for 3 ¼" x 4 ¼" exposures (approximately 8.35 x 11.35 cm). Includes 6 plate/film holders. The lens is clean, free of haziness and fungus, with no balsam separation. The shutter is functional and the viewfinder is relatively clean. Customised with a walnut veneer finish and polished components, this camera is a unique piece, perfect for display in any collection or as a gift for the avid enthusiast! The camera measures approximately 19.75 x 15.25 x 10.25 cm.
