Technos – Rectangular 17 Rubis Date – Manual Wind – Swiss Made
A distinctive vintage Technos manual-wind dress watch with a classic rectangular “tank-style” case and date display at 3 o’clock. The dial is signed “Technos – 17 Rubis”, while the case back is marked “Stainless Steel Back – Swiss Made.”
This example is fitted with the Swiss FHF/ST 96 family manual-wind movement. The ST 96 series is a 17-jewel Swiss lever calibre running at 18,000 A/h; date-equipped versions of this movement family were produced as the ST 96-4 variants.
The silver/champagne dial has developed attractive natural patina, spotting and age-related marks. Raised Arabic numerals, gold-tone hands and the rectangular date aperture give the watch a strong mid-century character.
