Very beautiful and richly detailed Russian icon depicting Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker

Richly decorated with multiple recessed border moldings which give relief and depth to this ensemble

Furnished with dried flowers and leaves along the sides as well as open-work decorative pieces which take the shape of a flower, they adorn the whole

Set in a wooden frame with dovetail joints and old monument glass (Wemelaars glass)

There is a small damage to the back of the frame that is noticeable and which was not recently caused (see photo gallery)
