Jøken's original 2025 diptych titled Detached, a green, white and black acrylic and resin epoxy on carved wood work in two panels (40 × 70 cm), signed on the verso with a signed certificate of authenticity, sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Jøken (Korneel Jeuken) — 'Detached' (diptych), 2025
A striking shaped-canvas diptych by Dutch artist Jøken (Korneel Jeuken), executed in acrylic and resin epoxy on carved wood. 'Detached' presents a fragmented, isometric cluster of architectural forms in vivid greens, rendered with a bold graphic outline that gives the piece an almost sculptural, three-dimensional presence on the wall.
The work is designed as two separate elements — a larger cascading structure and a smaller detached fragment — hung apart from one another, playing with negative space and the idea of disconnection implied by the title. The high-gloss resin finish adds depth and richness to the layered color planes, while the irregular, die-cut silhouette breaks free from the traditional rectangular canvas.
Signed and dated by the artist on the reverse ("Jøken 25"), and accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
