An Ancient History: The name "Dievole" first appears in a lease contract dated 1090. It literally means "God wants", making the estate a historic site with almost a thousand years of winemaking tradition.
Biological Philosophy and Terroir: Dievole is located in the municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the southern part of the Chianti Classico. The estate has fully converted its vineyards to organic farming and uses large French oak barrels of 41 hl for aging, preserving the pure and varietal expression of Sangiovese.
