Beautiful antique tea caddy with a hexagonal design and a floral decoration in high relief. Under the lid there is a metal stopper. The canister was used to protect loose tea leaves from air and moisture. The metal of the canister (likely a tin alloy) is gold-toned. A beautiful item.

The tea caddy is carefully packed and sent by registered mail.

Fraaie antieke tea caddy met een hexagonaal ontwerp en een florale versiering in hoog reliëf.
Onder de deksel zit een metalen stop.
Het busje werd gebruikt om losse theebladeren te beschermen tegen lucht en vocht.
Het metaal van het busje (waarschijnlijk een tin-legering) is goudkleurig getint.
Een fraai item.
