Description from the seller
TECHNICAL & MECHANICAL CONDITION:
This Porsche 911 Carrera is equipped with the naturally aspirated 3.6-litre flat-six engine, combined with the Tiptronic automatic transmission with shift controls on the steering wheel.
The engine of this 997 was rebuilt last year by Porsche specialist Auto Resto. The rebuilt engine has only done 1000Km after rebuilding, so the engine still needs to driven in. is supplied with a three-month warranty (on the newly rebuilt parts), which makes this particularly interesting for anyone looking for an early 997 where significant mechanical work has already been carried out.
The car has covered 153,135 kilometers
EXTERIOR & BODYWORK:
The car is finished in timeless black, giving the 997 a clean and understated appearance.
It is currently fitted with Porsche “Lobster” alloy wheels, which suit the shape of the 997 particularly well.
From the factory, it was equipped with xenon headlights with headlight washers, Park Distance Control and an electrically operated sunroof and the electrically extending rear spoiler
Other exterior-related equipment includes electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, an automatically dimming driver’s side mirror, rain sensor and a windscreen with a darker tinted upper section.
The car is also equipped with Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and an anti-theft system.
INTERIOR:
The interior is finished in black leather and features electrically adjustable comfort seats for both the driver and passenger. Both front seats are heated. The car is equipped with a three-spoke airbag steering wheel with Tiptronic controls, allowing manual gear changes directly from the steering wheel.
Further comfort equipment includes cruise control, air conditioning, an onboard computer and automatically dimming interior and exterior mirrors. The original Porsche PCM 2 system is fitted with European navigation, telephone preparation and a Porsche CD changer. The car is also equipped with the optional BOSE sound system.
Further interior specifications include black instrument dials, black seat belts, leather front and rear seat upholstery, a split-folding rear seat and extended leather trim.
DOCUMENTATION:
This Porsche 911 Carrera was originally delivered in Germany by Porsche Zentrum Moers. The car will be delivered with the service book stamped and an extensive file of invoices. The 997 currently has Dutch registration. Last service has been carried out in 2025.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The 997 generation combines the traditional character of the Porsche 911 with considerably more modern comfort and everyday usability. Especially the early naturally aspirated 3.6-litre Carrera retains a relatively simple and analogue driving character compared with later generations.
What makes this particular example especially interesting is the combination of its original German delivery, extensive specification and recently rebuilt engine. The Tiptronic transmission makes the car comfortable for longer journeys, while equipment such as heated electric seats, BOSE audio, PCM navigation, cruise control, Xenon headlights, Park Distance Control and the electric sunroof make it very usable as a touring car.
With the engine rebuild already completed and a three-month engine warranty included, this is an attractive 997 Carrera for someone looking for a well-equipped example that is ready to be enjoyed.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
Transport:
We can arrange transport throughout Europe and worldwide, both open and enclosed.
Export:
We offer full export assistance and can help with the necessary documentation if the car is to be registered outside the Netherlands.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
