Description from the seller
Natural Rough Spessartite Garnet Lot – 116 g – 161 Pieces – Momand District, Pakistan
Offering a beautiful lot of natural rough Spessartite Garnet from Momand District, Pakistan, with a total weight of 116 grams and 161 individual pieces.
The lot displays an attractive range of natural orange to honey-orange tones, with good transparency and a lively vitreous lustre. Many of the pieces feature natural terminations and several polished steps/faces, creating attractive reflective surfaces and allowing the colour and transparency of the garnets to be appreciated. The front and head faces are polished, while the back sides remain rough, giving the pieces an interesting combination of natural and polished surfaces.
The colour is completely natural, and the individual garnets vary slightly in size, shape, transparency and internal characteristics, making this a diverse and appealing parcel for collectors and lapidary enthusiasts.
The pieces can be used for mineral collecting, lapidary work, jewellery making, cabochons, decorative applications, or even as attractive rough-form jewellery pieces. The combination of natural crystal characteristics and partially polished surfaces makes this lot particularly interesting for both collectors and craftsmen.
