Elegant antique chair in Louis XVI / neoclassical style, made approximately between 1920 and 1940.
Solid wood frame with dark finish, tall fluted and slightly tapered legs, decorated at the top with carved rosettes. Oval backrest and seat upholstered in brown leather, finished with decorative metal tacks.
The seat retains its original traditional construction, with copper-toned metal springs and textile straps, clearly visible in the photographs of the underside.
The leather presents an attractive patina developed with time, as well as marks, scratches, small cracks and areas of wear typical of its age. The wooden frame likewise shows small nicks and finish losses, especially on the legs.
