​The watch presents itself in extraordinary vintage condition and completely original:
​Splendid sunburst silver dial 100% original with gold-toned indices and hands in perfect condition.
​The original tritium plots on the dial show a wonderful and uniform patina shifted to pale/ivory color, naturally faded with time as expected physical evolution for an almost 50-year-old piece.
​Oyster stainless steel case of 34 mm (excluding crown) well preserved, with sharp edges and serial/reference engravings perfectly legible between the lugs. Original Rolex screw-down crown.
​Rolex-manufactured caliber 1225 manual wind, sturdy and precise, perfectly functioning.
Repair history unknown. The watch has been checked, wound by hand regularly, and keeps accurate time.
Vintage conditions excellent. It shows light and normal signs of wear and time on the stainless steel case and plexiglass crystal, consistent with its age (1977). Dial and hands untouched with original vintage patina. Never aggressively polished.
