Palmatoria (or hand-held candlestick) in .925 silver, neoclassical style.

The central column has the shape of a caryatid, which supports the snuffer (where the candle sits) on its head.

Having the original cone-shaped candle snuffer is an excellent detail; many of these are lost over time.

The handle has a zoomorphic form, possibly a griffin or a fantastical creature. It presents a circular base with rope-edged edges (in the form of a cord) typical of late 19th or early 20th-century silverware.

Pay special attention to the photographs as they form part of the description.

La columna central tiene forma de cariátide, que sostiene el mechero (donde va la vela) sobre su cabeza.

Que conserve el apagavelas original en forma de cono es un detalle excelente, muchos de estos se pierden con el tiempo.

El asa tiene una forma zoomorfa, posiblemente un grifo o una criatura fantástica. Presenta una base circular con bordes "sogueados" (en forma de cuerda) típica de la platería de finales del siglo XIX o principios del XX.
