Spring with milled decorations on the back of the handle, together with the well-known Laguiole bee. The shepherd’s cross is also on the handle. This is the emblem against which shepherds on their long treks across the land could pray for the meal, with the knife stuck in the bread. The French shepherds also enjoyed wine, and therefore versions with a corkscrew were made, of which this is one.

Laguiole
The famous knife from France originates from a beautiful functional pocket knife. Laguiole is not a brand name, but a reference to a French village. It was designed with as a starting point a Spanish pocket knife called navaja and a local French small dagger called capuchadou.
