Rally spirit turned into an icon. Official document and representation of the Lancia Delta HF Integrale, the most radical and glorious version of the Italian hatch that dominated the World Rally Championship in the late 80s and early 90s. Born to homologate competition in Group A, the Delta HF Integrale was not simply a street sports car: it was a weapon designed to conquer stages and transfer that supremacy to everyday asphalt.

The Delta HF Integrale represented the pinnacle of Lancia engineering in its golden era. Its widened body, with muscular wheel arches, specific air intakes and larger-diameter wheels, did not respond to a matter of aesthetics, but to the need to house a more powerful mechanical and a sophisticated permanent all-wheel-drive system. Every widening and every opening were designed to improve cooling, stability and performance.

Beneath the hood lay a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that, in its various evolutions (8V, 16V and Evoluzione), far exceeded 200 hp, reaching around 215–220 hp in the final versions. Paired with a manual transmission and an advanced all-wheel-drive system with specific differentials, it offered extraordinary traction and effectiveness on any surface.

Its handling was precise, agile and explosive. The turbo boost, communicative steering and intelligent torque distribution made it an incredibly effective, yet exciting car. It wasn’t a conventional compact: it was a true rally car adapted for the road.

Between 1987 and 1992, the Delta HF Integrale achieved six consecutive manufacturers’ titles in the World Rally Championship, a record that cemented its place in automotive history. On the street, it became a symbol of character, technology and Italian competitive spirit.

Today, the Lancia Delta HF Integrale is an absolute cult piece. It represents the golden age of rallying, Lancia’s technical audacity, and a time when homologation specials brought the passion and brutality of competition directly to the roads.
