Antique Set of 3 Sprayers, manufactured in the United Kingdom in the 1920s by The Eclipse Spraying Co. Ltd / Eclipse Sprayers Ltd., Smethwick, England. Eclipse was an English manufacturer of sprayers, founded in Smethwick, in the Midlands, with roots dating back to before 1914, as The Eclipse Spraying Company, and formally incorporated as Ltd. in 1924, based at Rawlings Road, Smethwick, Warley, Worcestershire.
It specialised in solid brass manual sprayers for agriculture and gardening — the famous "bucket sprayers" and "stirrup pumps". The best-known model is the Eclipse No.1 Sprayer, patented in 1924, for a high-pressure piston pump.
