Description from the seller

Imported from Italy, the Alessi "Mami" series teapot was designed by renowned designer Stefano Giovannoni and released in 1999. Inspired by Aladdin’s lamp, it features a distinctive "flying saucer" or olive-shaped body, making it a classic piece of postmodern kitchenware.
Material: The body is crafted from high-quality 18/10 medical-grade stainless steel with a mirror-polished finish. It features a thickened, three-layer composite base—comprising an inner 18/10 stainless steel layer, a highly conductive aluminum core, and an outer magnetic 430 stainless steel layer—ensuring rapid, even heat distribution and energy efficiency; it is compatible with all stovetops, including induction and open-flame ranges.
Craftsmanship: The solid stainless steel handle is spot-welded for a secure, comfortable grip. The original stainless steel lid includes a steam vent, while the spout is expertly curved to ensure a smooth, drip-free pour. Spot-welded seams minimize crevices where dirt might accumulate, making cleaning easy. The base bears the brand, designer, and year of production; the pot comes with a matching stainless steel tea infuser, making it suitable for both boiling water and brewing tea.
