Mario Borgoni - Biscotti Delser - 1970s

Splendid and rare vintage advertising poster for the famous Delser Cookies (Martignacco, Udine). This piece represents an exceptional example of Italian advertising poster art from the early 20th century. The graphic, with its unmistakable poetic and naturalistic touch, is signed in monogram by Mario Borgoni, one of the most important masters of Italian poster design. The work depicts a group of white geese swimming in the water among floating cookies, skillfully combining the elegance of the Liberty style with the effectiveness of the promotional message. The poster bears in the lower left corner the important signature of the printer Stab. Richter & C. - Napoli, renowned for the chromatic quality of its chromolithographs.
