Description from the seller
This JONISK table lamp was designed by the Swedish designer Carl Öjerstam for IKEA.
The lamp features a smooth, high-gloss white plastic shade that distributes the light evenly.
The cord is equipped with an integrated dimmer, allowing the light intensity to be easily adjusted. The lamp is easy to dim with the rotary knob. In the photos you can see two brightness levels of the dimmer.
At the bottom there is normally a weighted metal foot, but this is missing on this lamp. This makes it stand stably on the plastic base.
Carl Öjerstam is a Swedish industrial designer known for his clear, functional designs with often organic form language. In his work he combines practicality with simple, sculptural shapes. The JONISK lamp is a good example of that: a minimalist lamp with a soft form and a pronounced visual presence.
