Description from the seller
>Worldwide delivery can be arranged. Please contact us before purchasing for a precise shipping quotation.
The gently curved ends and long, architectural silhouette lend the piece a particularly refined presence, while the sculptural brass handles introduce a restrained decorative flourish. Of particular note are the remarkable spherical feet, fashioned in cream-coloured ceramic and finished with brass rings, all resting upon a sweeping ebonised plinth.
The façade is arranged with four doors, offering generous storage while preserving the cabinet’s exceptionally clean and balanced appearance. The warm reddish-brown timber displays a richly varied grain, made all the more attractive by the mellow patina acquired over many decades.
Presented in good original vintage condition, with the expected minor marks, surface wear and traces of use consistent with its age. These have been deliberately retained as part of the piece’s character and history rather than concealed through excessive restoration. Please study the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.
A wonderfully assured example of Italian Art Deco furniture: substantial without appearing heavy, decorative without ostentation, and equally suited to a sophisticated dining room, drawing room or grand entrance hall.
