AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

No Reserve
Three-light chandelier, entirely handmade by a master Murano glassmaker, produced around the mid-20th century, with pulegoso glass.

All pieces are similar but not identical, due to the entirely handmade workmanship.

Bright and luminous in various lighting conditions, see all the photos. It lit the entrance of a Venice apartment, now under restoration. The previous owner recalls that they were purchased at Fornace in Murano, but given the era the purchase documents have not been preserved. ) It can be suitable for many environments and styles, and the photos of the different ambient placements are shown as examples.

Transparent 'pulegoso' glass.

It has 3 arms with removable cups facing upward, alternating with three pairs of large leaves twisted downward.

Width: 58 cm Height: about 68 cm.

Complete with all parts. For safety reasons the threaded metal support rod has been replaced.

Electrical system functioning. Sockets for E14 bulbs. The chandelier has been lightly dusted to preserve its light patina of time, but can optionally be washed before installation. In the final photos the mounting details.

It will be shipped dismantled, with mounting instructions, for safer transport.

Shipping only to continental EU countries, excluding islands.

Seller's Story

I mainly collect Murano chandeliers thanks to the collaboration with some companies that restore apartments and palaces in Venice. In this way, over time, I have recovered the chandeliers of elegant and often ancient houses in the lagoon and in the nearby areas. Murano glass has an incomparable charm: every piece, even the simplest, has a story hidden in its fragility and its iridescent light.
