Description from the seller

Magnificent example from the Perrelet manufacture, dating approximately from the 2000s, in a sublime configuration.
The peculiarity of this model lies in the presence of the double-rotor system, whose upper rotor is in 18-karat gold, connected by two bridges, also in 18-karat gold.

Perrelet was founded in 1777 by Abraham Louis Perrelet.
A major manufacture in the world of watchmaking, Perrelet will be the origin of the invention of the automatic watch, information claimed by the manufacture but which remains today a subject of debate.
In 1995 it filed the patent regarding its modern-era innovation: the double-rotor system.

This specimen is equipped with the company’s automatic movement, the caliber P-181 with a double synchronized rotor.
(Also called the "Dipteros II" recalling the first movement of the company bearing this complication, the "Dipteros I". Dipteros also refers to a building in ancient architecture, which was surrounded by a double row of columns.)

Automatic movement: Perrelet P-181
Movement serviced, with deviations and amplitudes optimized.

Case diameter: 36mm (excluding crown) / 38mm (with crown)

Stainless steel case.
Back case stainless steel, transparent, clipped.
Slightly curved lugs.
Upper rotor visible from the dial side in 18-karat gold.
