Very beautiful ceramic pitcher representing a rooster, marked "EDW" impressed under the base.
Dating from the 1960s.

This piece stands out for its magnificent polychrome decoration and its numerous relief elements. The rooster features plumage in blue, green, orange and red tones, with a very expressive head, a fine comb and a yellow beak. Its body is richly decorated with white relief flowers and foliage, creating a particularly decorative overall appearance.
The relief work is very elaborate, especially in the plumage, the flowers, and the details of the rooster. The handle completes the composition harmoniously.
Condition: very good overall condition, without chips, scratches, or cracks. The colors are well preserved and the piece has a wonderful freshness.
