Massive - Wall lamp - Frosted glas - A pair of wall lights

You are bidding here on an elegant pair of vintage wall sconces by Massive, the renowned Belgian lighting manufacturer.

The lamps feature a striking fan-shaped design with beautifully ribbed frosted glass shades, framed by gold-tone metal details.
Their geometric silhouette and combination of frosted glass and polished gold finish show clear Art Deco and Hollywood Regency influences, giving the sconces a particularly decorative and sophisticated appearance.
When illuminated, the stepped glass softly diffuses the light and creates a warm atmospheric glow.


SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS:
Massive was a Belgian lighting company whose history dates back to 1926, when Pieter-Jozef De Jaeck established a small foundry near Antwerp. Over the following decades, the family business developed into one of Europe's major manufacturers and distributors of domestic lighting, with an extensive international presence. Massive later became part of Partners in Lighting International (PLI), which was acquired by Philips in 2007.

* I would like to point out that the items I am selling are several decades old and therefore show general signs of use and age, such as minor scratches, scuffs, discoloration, dust, patina, chips, dents etc.

The lamps will be properly prepared for the shipping ( mainly recycled materials ) and sent insured ( up to 500€ ).

IMPORTANT:
If, however, the item is damaged or lost, please contact me via the internal Catawiki chat.
According to EU law for courier companies, in any case of damage to an international shipment, the first step in obtaining compensation is for the RECIPIENT to report the damage to their local supplier within 7 days of receiving the shipment. Only then, after the RECIPENT ( you ) receives a certificate of damage, I as the sender can claim compensation.
In addition, the following photos will be required: the damage to the item, the outside of the box with the shipping label, and the inside of the box including the materials used to protect the shipment.
