Exceptional and elegant Swiss wristwatch Aerowatch "1942" Automatic, a piece that pays a beautiful tribute to the history of traditional watchmaking. The independent firm from Saignelégier specializes in reviving the aesthetics of the early 20th century, endowing this model with a marked vintage personality thanks to its unmistakable rounded wire-like lugs and its imposing onion-shaped fluted crown.

The dial is a true work of classic art: it features a central area decorated with an intricate concentric guilloché pattern, surrounded by a smooth ring with bold black Roman numerals printed on it. For time reading, it uses precious blued-steel Breguet-style hands (with the characteristic pomme tip). At the 6 o’clock position sits a discreet and practical date window.

The stainless steel case, with an ideal size of 40 mm in diameter, is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. On its rear, the exhibition case back allows admiring the heart of the watch: a precise Swiss automatic movement with 25 jewels, whose rotor is beautifully engraved with the name of the firm.

Condition and Conservation: The watch is in excellent aesthetic and mechanical condition. The polished steel case and the sapphire crystal are pristine, showing very light and careful signs of use. The original leather strap remains in good usable condition, and the buckle is in perfect condition.
