Omega Speedmaster Chronograph Ref. 145.0040 from 1987, with manual-wind Calibre 861, a steel case with a gold bezel, 42 mm diameter, integrated steel and gold bracelet, gold dial, original papers and warranty, no original box, in good condition with signs of wear, and insured shipping.
Description from the seller
Magnificent collection specimen of one of Omega's most particular and sought-after references from the 1980s: the Speedmaster "Teutonic", here presented in complete original condition. This piece combines the robustness of steel with the elegance of solid gold, offering an integrated design that marked an era in Swiss watchmaking.
Inside is the legendary Caliber 861, the manually wound movement that propelled the Speedmaster to the Moon. A mechanism of reliability and historic value beyond measure.
The sandblasted steel case and the gold-coated bezel show signs of use consistent with its age: the bezel gold shows some small bulges and is partially chipped at 12 o'clock. The watch has never been polished, thus preserving the original factory lines and finish. It shows no significant shocks or dents.
Dimensions: 42 mm (a commanding presence on the wrist but very ergonomic thanks to the integrated design).
Crystal: original mineral crystal in good condition, with no evident scratches.
Magnificent gold-colored dial, with applied indices and the Omega logo standing out in impeccable condition, in contrast with the three symmetrical subdials on a gray background with black hands.
Bracelet: Integrated in steel and gold. Shows signs of wear and a normal tolerance for its age, but all the links in the set are present, maintaining excellent solidity and the original Omega-signed clasp.
Operation: The watch runs correctly, with stable timekeeping and precise chronograph functions.
The watch comes with its original instruction booklet and the warranty booklet stamped: it will be shipped with careful packaging.
Tracked international insured shipping.
