It comes with 2 straps, the original traditional Convert strap and a modern cognac leather strap. The modern strap is mounted, the Convert strap is supplied loose.

The Aviator Convert is a classic Pilot watch, designed for optimal legibility, a robust stainless steel case and a timeless design. The characteristic generous crown evokes the classic Big Crown style loved by pilot watches, while the hand-wound movement fully aligns with traditional German watchmaking.

The name Glashütter Tradition has its origin in the rich watchmaking tradition of Glashütte, the German center of high-end mechanical timepieces. In 1998 the name was revitalized by Dieter Dornblüth with the registration of "Glashütter Tradition Dornblüth". In 2009 the brand was further developed, emphasizing individual production and small-series work, with traditional craftsmanship and exclusivity at the core.

Although production was later discontinued, the watches from Glashütter Tradition are valued today for their high-quality finishing, limited availability and artisanal character.
