Description:
Wonderful vintage stereo reel-to-reel Akai 4000DS, a legendary 3-head One-Micron Gap, dual-speed model. The unit has been carefully cleaned, fully tested, and operates perfectly for playback and recording. Note for purists: a small disk-brake pad (spool brake) was replaced by another model; this modification does not affect the overall good functioning of the machine. Aesthetics are very well preserved with its wooden case and brushed aluminum front (see photos).
