An exceptionally decorative and refined pair of porcelain bowls with lids, produced in a classical European style.
On the underside the bowls bear the well-known blue S-monogram of Sèvres set in a diamond. The body of the bowls is hand-painted with a romantic floral motif in soft pastel tones, while the handles and feet are beautifully molded as green branches and foliage. The centerpiece of the design is the three-dimensional knob-shaped lid in the form of a ripened peach with leaves and blossoms. This beautiful set of two is in excellent condition, with the delicate botanical details also beautifully preserved. A valuable addition for collectors and a splendid centerpiece for the table or in the display case.
The height per lidded bowl is 23.5 cm, the width 30 cm and the depth 22 cm.
