Hand-knotted in China with wool on a cotton warp, dating from the early 1900s.
Chinese carpets are characterized by excellent wool. The decorations faithfully reproduce the motifs of Chinese tradition: flowers, Buddhist symbols. The wool quality is excellent.
The fringes have been rewoven in wool. For purist collectors it will be sufficient to remove them and implement a simple fringe securing, at an approximate cost of 30 euros per linear meter.
Those who prefer long fringes can leave them exactly as they are.
