Olivetti, Lettera 82 - Typewriter - 1980-1990

Eclectic and highly Pop Olivetti Lettera 82 made in Brazil. Introduced to the market in 1984, it was marketed by Olivetti as an economical model, following the acquisition of the historic Swiss brand Hermes, which occurred in the very early 80s. It mechanically derives from the famous Hermes Baby, but aesthetically it was overhauled, from colors to materials, and distributed in vivid tones including this one in particular military green on the external capsule, and Tiffany green inside, indeed it remains one of the most sought-after and iconic by mid-century modern collectors.
In enviable condition of preservation as evidenced by the images that accompany descriptive text, the scrolls and movements are all functioning.
It will be kept under maximum security and shipped to its new home.
