Antique silver-gilt pisside, in a neogothic/19th-century taste, consisting of a cup with a domed lid surmounted by a cross with cornflower terminals, a baluster stem, and a circular stepped base. Raised-relief and engraved decoration with vegetal tendril motifs and geometric friezes along the rim of the cup, on the node of the stem, and on the peripheral band of the base. Surface with good golden brilliance. On the base and in the lid is an FB 800 hallmark, compatible with the mark of the silversmith Federico Battelli.
