IKEA - Bergdala Glasbruk / Riksantikvarieämbetet - Wine glass (4) - Enhörna - Mouth-blown - 1700-talsserien Gustavian

IKEA - Rare Historical Replica Wine Glasses 'Enhörna' - 1700-talsserien (Set of 4) - Glass A magnificent and complete set of 4 handmade glasses from the iconic and highly sought-after 1700-talsserien (18th-century collection) by IKEA, released in 1993. This limited-edition historical replica line was developed in close collaboration with the Swedish National Heritage Board (Riksantikvarieämbetet). Due to the extremely high costs of traditional craftsmanship, the collection was quickly discontinued and removed from the catalogue, making these pieces rare today. Model: ‘Enhörna’ (Unicorn) – inspired by traditional 18th-century Gustavian design. Craftsmanship: Mouth-blown at the famous Swedish glassworks Bergdala Glasbruk. These glasses feature a distinctive artisan teardrop air bubble trapped inside the solid glass stem, and a traditional folded foot rim. Signatures: Each glass features an official hand-engraved signature under the base: "BCV 1993" (Bergdala C-Volym, production year 1993). Rarity: Some glasses in this lot still retain their original paper labels from the Swedish Heritage Board. Condition: Excellent condition. Beautifully preserved with no chips, no cracks, and perfectly clear glass.
