Reed Man is a French editor-drafter-writer-colorist. Reed Man is a pseudonym inspired by the leader of Marvel’s Fantastic Four. He studied art at the Émile Cohl School in Lyon. A comic book author since 1990—a virus that hit him in childhood. His wife Élodie Ant, a few fellow authors, and himself founded the Organic Comix label in 1989. Beyond producing underground comics (Words from The Coffin, Reptile, The Pact, Exobiologie, The Atomics), Organic specializes in live BD wall murals. In 1992, he joined Semic to touch up comic pages. In 2000, he conceived the Fantask Force for the new version of Fantask. During this period, he also drew Dick Demon and Strangers. In 2003, he released a Fantask Force album at Semic. In 2004, he signed the cover of Pimpf Magazine No. 10 (Kriminal) as well as the final cover of Akim (2nd series). From 2004 to 2008, he did the colorings of Rahan, Les Apatrides, and Forg for Pif Gadget (monthly). In 2007, he published an unreleased Mikros album with Jean-Yves Mitton on screenplay at Organic Comix. That same year, he relaunched Strange (Organic Comix) in a new edition while continuing the adventures of the Fantask Force.
