Jewellery box - Wood

The wooden alms box transformed in a later period into a box/casket (as in the photo). Central Italy, mid-18th century, transformed into a box/casket in the second half of the 19th century (as in the photo).
Hinges on the original 18th-century lid, rear hinges replaced in the second half of the 19th century. Used but in excellent condition as shown in the photo.
Recently the interior has been lined with Florence paper as in the photo.
Conditions: used, transformed but in excellent condition as shown in the photo.
