ABOUT MY PAINTING

One of the things that interests me most about people is their way of moving, speaking, or looking. Since I was small I developed the habit of observing to perceive how my parents, siblings, and family were emotionally. My father, in particular, transmitted to me a tenderness and empathy toward nature and animals in general, how to take care of and protect.
The intimacy and everyday life of people is what defines them, how they move in small gestures when cooking, resting, while performing ordinary things of life. Small acts that they do in their life and that constitute them as beings who inhabit and who form part of my world. I consider my painting autobiographical, like a diary of life where I express emotions that arise when observing someone I love or an animal that moves me. I usually use photographs from the past or capture with the camera scenes that catch my attention where they participate naturally.
