Box, sewing cassette – mid-century design, 50s/60s.

Original vintage storage case for accessories, kept in the characteristic mid-century modern style. The compact wooden box is mounted on four slender, curved metal legs in a brass color, giving it a light, decorative form. The legs can be folded.

The hinged lid is equipped with the original light handle. The front is adorned with a subtle light decorative stripe.

Form and construction indicate European production, probably from the 1950s/60s. Similar cases were made, among others, in Germany.

The item is preserved in its original vintage condition, with natural signs of use and surface patina. Small scuffs, discolorations, and traces of time are visible, which emphasize the authentic character of the object.
