The four-panel piece is in a used, lived-in condition, with clear signs of age and wear, appropriate for its age.
The casting is reasonably sharp and shows an old patina with remnants of blue enamel.
There is wear to the metal and to the hinges.
Two of the hinge points/eyelets are damaged, partly broken.
All hinge pins have in the past been replaced with later metal pins to keep the panels together.
Otherwise, in good condition.
