Mesopotamian Neobabylonian half-relief of the goddess Ishtar in terracotta, with bent arms embracing the breasts, head with detailed facial and hair rendering, broken at the bottom but otherwise well preserved with antique patina, mounted on a wooden base; without base 4.1 × 2.8 × 1.5 cm, with base 6.1 × 4 × 3.2 cm; origin Mesopotamia, 6th–5th century BC; authenticity original; no shipping outside the European Union.

Neo-Babylonian semi-plastic relief representation of the goddess Ishtar, with bent arms embracing the breasts. Head with good facial and hair detailing. Broken at the bottom, otherwise very well preserved. With ancient patina. On a wooden pedestal.
Dimensions: Without pedestal: 4.1 x 2.8 x 1.5 cm; With pedestal: 6.1 x 4 x 3.2 cm
Origin: Mesopotamia, 6th–5th century BC
Provenance: Acquired in 2025 at a renowned southern German auction house. Previously from the private collection W. F., Munich since before 2000. With label from the Münzkabinetts Werner Funk, Neukeferloh, Germany.
