A pair of antique door handles from the early 20th century, featuring turned hardwood grips on a solid brass mounting, each 15 cm wide, 9.5 cm high, and about 3.5 cm deep, weighing 300 g, in good condition with age-related wear.
Description from the seller
This pair of antique door handles or pull handles belongs to the architectural hardware production of the first third of the 20th century, corresponding to the Art Nouveau or Art Deco eras. Each piece is robustly constructed with a solid brass mounting structure (rather than pure copper) featuring an ergonomically shaped half-moon grip made of turned hardwood. The brass assembly includes a mechanical central tightening system with a flat-head screw and a raised knurled knob designed to secure the metal collar bracket. Each handle measures 15 cm in width, 9.5 cm in height and has a depth of approximately 3.5 cm. Weighing a solid 300 g each, they reflect the density and build quality typical of period interior hardware. The set is in good overall condition, with the wood showing natural surface color variations and the brass displaying an authentic dark patina that genuinely witnesses its age.
