The gilt bronze, worked with a richness of curves and counter-curves, creates a drawing that is almost vegetal: stems that coil, leaves that sprout, volutes that rise as if the matter wanted to imitate the movement of a flame. Each of the five arms opens naturally, like branches from the same trunk, balanced in a dynamic symmetry very characteristic of French Rococo. There are no straight lines, no rigidity: everything flows, everything undulates, everything seems animated by an organic impulse.
