Scandyna Minipod passive design speakers in black finish (set of 2), technically in 100% working order and visually in good condition. The larger model beside the Micropod within the well-known Podspeakers series, originally developed under the Bowers & Wilkins (B&W) banner by designers Simon Ghahary and Robert Trunz.
The distinctive organic enclosure of sturdy ABS serves an important acoustic purpose: eliminating internal standing waves and cabinet coloration. This ensures an open, uncolored sound image and an accurate placement of instruments and voices.
The Minipod is fitted with a 5-inch woven Kevlar midwoofer for solid bass response and defined midrange, paired with a soft-dome tweeter for a calm, detailed high end. The speakers are easily driven by any common stereo amplifier or receiver.
The set has been extensively tested, the rubber edge surrounds are supple and intact, the tweeters are in neat condition and the whole plays clean and dynamic.
