Television - National TR-425 Pop-Up TV

The National TR-425 is the European version of the Panasonic TR-425.

Nicknamed "The Pandora," it is an iconic portable transistor television with an integrated radio. Produced by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. in Japan at the turn between the late 1960s and early 1970s, it represents a highly sought-after collectible among Space Age design enthusiasts and mid-century modern retro fans.

Pop-Up Design (Flip-Top):
Its aesthetic feature lies in the retractable, disappearing screen. When closed, the appliance presents itself as a compact portable radio; by lifting the upper lid, the small CRT (cathode-ray tube) is revealed in black and white.

The auction model is well kept, complete and without breaks. (it still has the plastic over the dial)
Tested, it still works, both the radio and the TV.
It is missing its power cable; to power it you need two 12 V batteries.
