Yves Lohé (geboren in 1947) staat bekend om zijn gestileerde en expressieve bronzen figuren met een uitgesproken karakter. 

Het beeld toont een slanke, langgerekte mannenfiguur met een kenmerkende pet en een lange jas, die een fles in zijn jaszak of onder zijn arm draagt. Lohé staat bekend om deze expressieve, ietwat abstracte stijl met vloeiende vormen en een herkenbaar patine. Op de donkere, vierkante sokkel is aan de rechterzijde subtiel zijn handtekening "LOHÉ" ingegoten.
