Here is a stunning color illustration in preview, part of a series of 13 images dedicated to and inspired by witches!
The entire collection will present the so-called "witches" in a light different from the usual. While maintaining a vaguely sexy line, the figures will never appear vulgar even in full nude scenes. The female figures represented in this collection will be beings in harmony with themselves and with the surrounding nature, unlike some of the characters who will interact with them...
In this scene the character might vaguely recall someone. Will it still be him?
Anyway he seems undecided, perhaps even worried about the choice he is about to make.
The 13 prints, still in the process of realization, will form a portfolio of limited edition and signed by the author, with working title STREGHE (witch stories). The collection will most likely be published by Edizioni Di, (formerly Grifo Editore), with whom PAT Evangelisti has collaborated for years.
This illustration, realized on 250 g Canson fine-grain paper (35x50 cm) with mixed technique: pencil, ink, ecoline and pastels. It is being offered directly here in preview by the author to self-finance during the realization of this and other graphic projects.
