Dial and Hands
The dial is exceptionally clean and well-preserved, featuring a pristine silver sunburst finish that catches the light beautifully. Applied gold-tone indices with black inserts provide striking contrast, perfectly complementing the applied Omega logo and Constellation star. The dial text printing remains sharp with no visible loss, and a framed date window sits neatly at the three o'clock position. The matching gold-tone dauphine hands feature black inserts and display only very light oxidation visible under magnification, while the sweep seconds hand remains straight and clean.

Case and Crystal
The gold-tone C-shape case displays honest vintage wear with preserved geometry, showing moderate surface scratches and handling marks consistent with its age. The edges remain relatively well-defined, transitioning smoothly to the integrated gold-tone bezel, which exhibits light surface scratches. On the stainless steel caseback, the signature gold observatory medallion is wonderfully crisp. The scalloped crown is clearly signed with the Omega logo and its plating appears intact. The domed acrylic crystal features the Omega logo etched in the center, showing only light surface scratches visible under direct light.

Movement
Inside beats the chronometer-certified Omega Caliber 564 automatic movement, featuring 24 jewels and adjusted to five positions and temperature. The copper-colored plating is bright and remarkably clean, with no visible corrosion or significant scratches. The rotor and bridges are well-finished, and the screw heads appear unmarred, reflecting careful preservation. The timegrapher recorded a rate of +10+12s/day. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece.

Strap
The watch is fitted with a handsome black leather strap featuring an alligator grain pattern and contrasting beige stitching. The strap appears unworn or very lightly used, pairing elegantly with the gold-tone case.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition. The dial is pristine and exceptionally well-preserved, while the case retains good geometry with moderate, honest surface scratches consistent with the 1968 production year. The crisp caseback medallion and signed crystal highlight the watch's careful ownership. Supported by the recorded timegrapher result of +10+12s/day, the movement is performing very strongly.
