Elegant Lladró porcelain figurine with the official title “Pretty Pickings”, model 5222. The figurine shows a young girl wearing a wide-brimmed sun hat, a fluttering blue skirt, and a basket full of finely crafted flowers. Her calm pose, soft facial expression and the classic pastel tones give the piece the refined and romantic look Lladró is known for.

The flowers in the basket are individually and highly detailed. Behind the skirt is a decorative grass and leaf motif that is part of the base of the figurine. There is no dog or other animal in this depiction.

“Pretty Pickings” was designed by the Spanish sculptor José Puche and was introduced by Lladró in 1984. It concerns the glossy, glazed version in hand-painted porcelain. On the underside are the blue Lladró mark, factory markings and the model number visible.

The figurine comes with the depicted authentic Lladró box. It cannot be determined with certainty that this is the original, model-specific box for this piece. The box shows clear signs of age and use, including wear and tape.
