Cup / Ashtray "Candy" in Murano glass "Bullicante" – Carlo Scarpa for Venini & C., Murano, Italy, circa 1948 – 1960. (The acid-etched signature in three lines with "ITALIA" in uppercase was introduced in the postwar period, being predominantly used throughout the 1950s)
Bullicante (decorative effect of controlled inclusion of air bubbles symmetrically inside the glass) with a polished finish on the base.
Signed on the base with the standard three-line acid-etched mark: "venini / murano / ITALIA". Shows natural wear and aging from use on the base, accentuated on the seating surface.
Excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or visible restorations. Light superficial scratches on the base consistent with the piece’s age.
