The movement is the 7-jewel manual-wind caliber stamped "447 ST.CO." — the Durowe 7420/2, the movement specified for US MIL-W-46374B field watches, with metal bushings in place of train jewels and plastic balance cap jewels, as required by the non-maintainable "expendable" brief of the specification. The inner caseback is stamped "Conde Co. Hong Kong", the case supplier used for watches built to that specification. The MIL-W-46374B revision, published in 1975, is the one that introduced the "H3" marking and the radiation symbol on the dial to declare the tritium luminous material.
